This tool complieswith is 10810.17:1986 and this test is carried out to ensure that the sheathhas the required tear strength to withstand.           

The followinginstruments are required for this test:           

1. Special samplecutter（Die） - cutting sample          

2. Punching machine- punching the sample.            

3. Grinding machine - removing irregularities or corrugations           

4. Tensile machine- the tensile speed is required to meet the standard of 350 to 500 mm /min           

5. Micrometer -measure the thickness of the sample - the thickness of the sample shall not begreater than 4.00mm or less than 1.00mm           

6. Steel measure tape - Apiece of sheathed cable taken not less than 300 mm from the end of the cable.           

7. The conditioningcabinet can be kept at 27 ± 2 ° C. If the room temperature can be maintained atthat temperature, the instrument is not required.)
